How to Play This Guitar:
Pedal Switched Instruments:

The samples are divided into down-strums (low to high strings) and up-strums (high to low strings) and grouped accordingly.

The down-strums are played with the little finger and thumb of the left hand. They are grouped in octaves (12 half steps apart) from B1 through A3 on your keyboard (this may be B0 through A2 depending on which keyboard you are using).

Here's an example:
To play the down-strum of an E major chord, play the E1 key with the little finger of your left hand. Next play the E2 key with the thumb of your left hand now rock back and forth playing E1, then E2, then E1 etc.

The up-strums are played with the thumb and little finger of the right hand and are grouped from B4 through G7 (or B3 through G6).

Example: to play an E major up-strum chord play the E3 key with the thumb of your right hand. Now play the E4 key with the little finger of your right hand. Now rock between E3 and E4.

To play down-strums and up-strums together put your hands in place: little finger of your left hand on E1, thumb of your left hand on E2, thumb of your right hand on E3 and little finger of your right hand on E4. First play E1 with the little finger of your left hand. Next play E3 with the thumb of your right hand. Now play E2 with the thumb of your left hand. And finally play E4 with the little finger of your right hand. Repeat this exercise a few times until you begin to get a feel for it. Remember, the little finger of the left hand is followed by the thumb of the right hand, then the thumb of the left hand is followed by the little finger of the right hand.

To play minor chords depress the sustain pedal and play as usual.

Here is a simple diagram of how the samples are mapped.
